LCES is a PreK-6th public school in Rogersville, AL where our faculty, staff, and most importantly our students focus on these core values: Leadership Community Excellence Service.

History of LCES

The original school, Lauderdale County High School K-12, was established in 1907, accredited in 1912, and graduated our first class in 1913. In 2022, the Lauderdale County School System decided to split five schools that were K-12 into separate elementary schools and high schools. This led to the establishment of Lauderdale County Elementary School in August of 2022.
